• High-Tech Dental Implant Placement

    May 14, 2018
  • We’re living in a world that’s increasingly digital, and the world of dentistry is no exception. This is great news for patients wanting to replace missing teeth with dental implants because high-tech dentistry allows us to provide more comfortable and precise placement of the artificial tooth roots.

At Pickett Family Dental, we use computer-assisted dentistry to more thoroughly plan your treatment. State-of-the-art technology allows us to take a highly detailed digital image of your jaw.

  • “We see where the bone’s at and we ideally plan the implant placement before we even begin,” Dr. Pickett said. “We design this in a software program. We make a plastic guide that has machine metal guides in it so that, basically, I'm placing that implant within less than one degree of accuracy, and within microns of accuracy as far as depth goes.”

Watch this video to learn more about how technology allows us to provide more gentle dental care. Then, give our Keller, TX office a call at 817-431-5514 to schedule a dental implant consultation.
