Dental Implants Are Our Specialty
Dental implants are widely considered the most reliable and long-lasting solution for replacing missing teeth. But more than that, they restore something essential—your ability to smile and live without hesitation. Unlike dentures that can shift or bridges that rely on surrounding teeth, dental implants integrate with your jawbone to create a permanent foundation for a replacement tooth.
The result is a stable, natural-looking tooth that doesn’t move, doesn’t rely on adhesives, and won’t wear down neighboring teeth. Many patients tell us their implant feels so natural, they forget it’s not their original tooth.
Our Keller, TX dentist Dr. Tyson Pickett, DDS FAGD and our dental staff can provide everything from individual tooth replacements to complete restorations.

Types of Dental Implants
Dental implants are the best, long lasting tooth replacement option for most of our patients at Pickett Family Dental. At our Keller, TX dentist office, you have many tooth replacement options. Dr. Pickett won’t recommend implants if you’re not a good candidate, and he will help you achieve your improved smile with other treatments. If you are able to receive implants, he may provide:
Implant-Retained Dentures
We can create dentures that are affixed onto the balls on top of your implants, where they will stay permanently. These stay in the mouth and need to be specially cleaned daily.
Implant-Supported Dentures
These dentures are connected directly to the implants rather than the gums. They are used when there are missing teeth, but sufficient bone in the jaw to hold them in place.
All-on-4® Implants
All-on-4 dental implants were developed to help those who suffer from severe oral health issues such as tooth loss, bone deterioration, and periodontal disease.
We have a dental specialist that we work with who can offer this incredible treatment, which replaces the entire top or bottom set of teeth with only four implants in the jaw, to create a beautiful arch of fixed teeth.

Dental Implant Options
We tailor each treatment to fit your needs. Some patients need to replace one tooth. Others come to us with dentures that no longer fit, or with multiple missing teeth that have caused changes in their bite or facial appearance. No matter your situation, we’ll help you restore what’s missing with care that works for you.
For single-tooth replacement, we place a small titanium implant in the jaw, then attach a custom-crafted crown that matches the color and shape of your surrounding teeth.
If you’re missing several or all of your teeth, we may recommend implant-retained or implant-supported dentures. These prosthetics are much more stable than traditional removable dentures and feel more like your natural teeth. For full-arch restoration, our All-on-4® option replaces an entire upper or lower set of teeth using just four strategically placed implants. We collaborate with a trusted dental specialist to offer this advanced procedure right here in Keller.
Comfortably Receiving Your New Smile In One Day
With our advanced dental implant technology, we can replace the roots of the teeth in your jaw, and hold them securely in place to allow for a firm hold that won’t slide around with use. At our dentist office in Keller, TX, we can scan your jaw prior to the implant procedure using a 3-D cone beam to see if your jawbone and gums are capable of supporting the replacement dental implant. You can actually see on the screen with us as we explain what’s going on in your mouth from a digital 3-D image.
In order to provide the most comfortable implant treatment possible, we offer two different sedation options, including if you need damaged teeth extracted before the implant placement. We offer nitrous oxide that allows you to be conscious without pain during the procedure:
- Nitrous oxide, also known as “laughing gas,” that you can comfortably inhale during your treatment, then return back to normal sensation without any drowsiness.
One of the greatest benefits to dental implants is that Dr. Pickett can place those implants or offer temporary replacement teeth on the same day as your extraction. This means you can walk out of our office on the same day with a bright, fully-functioning smile with no delay and at a lower cost.
Give us a call at 817-431-5514 or message us on our simple-to-use online form to schedule your consultation. We’ll provide a complete examination of your mouth to verify that you’re a good candidate for dental implants, then remove any necessary teeth and replace them with firm and beautiful new teeth all in a single day!
